Description

CTB-1 (AKA Garlic Nebula, AKA Popped Balloon Nebula) is super nova remnant approximately 9784 light years away and physically spans another 98 light years in diameter while it is dated to be approximately 10,000 years old. The area top left of CTB-1 has been confirmed as a shell rupture. This is the last data from the fall imaging session with the 120ED. It was a tough one to edit as the data was plentiful but the seeing conditions for the majority of the sessions was very poor. Skies have been cloudy since October so Im hoping on some clear skies soon to collect some data on fresh targets.

Thanks for looking

Dan.
