Description

This is a sequence of the solar eclipse consisting of 15 frames. Each frame is a stack of 50 images, where each sub is exposed for 0.5 ms. A single frame represents about one minute (that is why the moons shadow is blurred - it moves within one minute). Each frame was stacked with AutoStakkert and edited with PI (sharpening, LinearFit) and GIMP (turn green to yellow). The 15 frames where then aligned using ImPPG. I wanted to integrate more frames, but the clouds didn't allow that. I uploaded a downsized version of the original animation - there is no big difference in quality but in filesize.

TimeStamps for each frame:

1 11:16

2 11:30

3 11:37

4 11:42

5 11:51

6 11:55

7 12:11

8 12:25

9 12:41

10 12:47

11 12:52

12 12:57

13 13:14

14 13:32

15 13:36

My goal was to capture one frame each 5 minutes - you can easily find out when clouds blocked my view to the sun :-)
