Description

The Pleiades, aka M45 and "The Seven Sisters", is an open star cluster in the constellation of Taurus just a mere 444 light years away. A naked eye object it consists of young (formed within the last 100 million years), hot blue stars and the reflection nebulae associated with them.
Imaged on 10 Dec 2021 whilst waiting for my primary target for the night to rise:
- 45% Moon
- Redcat 51 mounted on iOptron Skyguider Pro
- ASI 1600MM camera, gain 139 and -15degC
- LRGB broadband filters, 25 x 60 sec for each filter
Processed in APP and Startools

There's better definition in this image than my previous attempt 2 years ago at https://astrob.in/5sr8z2/0/ which is as it should be ;-)
