Description

🌟Trifid Nebula (M20)🌟

The Trifid nebula is an HII region located in Sagittarius. Trifid is an unusual combination of an open cluster of stars, an emission nebula(lower red portion), a reflection nebula (the upper, blue portion) and a dark nebula. Trifid nebula is a star forming region in the Scutum spiral arm of our galaxy Milky Way. Trifid nebula is approximately 5000 light years away from Earth. 🌌
