Description

LBN 640 is a small dim reflection nebula locates in the Constellation Perseus, a less-frequently imaged object. This is another all-in-one region that includes blue reflective tip immersed in strong emission background, coupled with clouds of dust in the neighborhood. It wasn't until halfway into the data collection that I noticed the dusty part northeast as well as strong H signal in the FoV, which wasn't really showcased in other images on this target. I decided to go a little deeper than originally planned, and settled with this colorful version.
