Description

Tulip Nebula (SH2-101). Couple of months old data, reprocessed with BXT 2.0 with AI4. Captured on September 09 and 10 for 2 consecutive nights. I used my larger sensor camera ZWO ASI2600MC Pro with an aim to capture bow shock nebula created by the blasting from the power of black hole near the star Cygnus X-1. I think I have some success in capturing the bow shaped faint whitish nebular arch (at the upper edge near the middle right of this image). Cygnus X-1 is the larger of the couple of bright stars just upper right of the Tulip Nebula.
Details: Celestron Evolution 9.25" SC telescope on ZWO AM5 mount on Celestron Evolution 9.25 Tripod. ZWO ASI2600MC Pro CMOS camera. Celestron OAG with ZWO ASI174MM Mini guide camera. Optolong L-Ultimate and L-Extreme light pollution filters. Total of 357 images of two minutes exposure, with a total integration time of almost 12 hours. Processed in Pixinsight, finishing by Topaz Studio.
P.S. It is possible to see the bow shock created by the Black Hole Cygnus-X1, the faint semi circle passing through the strongest star just right of the middle top.
