Description

The Helix Nebula is certainly, at least to me, one of the most beautiful object in the sky. It is also a difficult object to image, as it remains very low at my location. It is indeed never higher than 23° altitude. It is also at a time where night are not that long yet. Given these difficulty, I am very very happy with that result. The Ha signal picked up by OSC cameras is indeed incredible.

The processing was fairly classic. SIRIL for stacking dual narrowband and RGB data separately, then Pixinsight for all subsequent steps.

I hope that you enjoy it !
