Description

After a lengthy recovery from a Corona virus infection I'm happy to be back. Currently I'm limited to my Unistellar eQuinox EAA device because my more sophisticate astro photo equipment is still too heavy for me to lug around into the field. So for the first time I post processed the images taken by the eQuinox and while the stars are far from perfect I'm quite happy with the result.

I was lucky that M101 passed by in the tiny area of sky over my backyard so I could capture around 3h of data in two nights.

Processing the 2647 files in PixInsight was quite a challenge. I had to divide the files into 6 batches.
As usual I used the GHS script for stretching. I learned that it is available as a module now, which I have to install in the next days.

Description: Tried to fix the stars with BlurXTerminator. The correction seems a bit over the top so I have to practice a bit more.

Changed the crop somewhat to provide more space to the galaxy.
