Description

A video from the subs of my last image showing Comet Hartley across about 6 hours.  The 3 best hours were used on the last picture.  The movement was noticeable from sub to sub, here a second is about 45 minutes.

Considering this was about 40 million miles away, even at the 762mm focal length it seemed to be zipping right along.

It may take a few moments for the 9 meg file to load depending on your connection speed. I noticed if you hit play, then pause it for a few moments its buffers enough to play through.

As an interesting side note: I started the capture very low (about 9 degrees) from the horizon. Check out how bloated the stars are for the first couple seconds.
