Description

My first time attempting a smaller Galaxy, well actually any Galaxy besides Andromeda. I exposed this really far to the left as some people had been telling me to underexpose a lot more then I had been. But I found that after it was stacked in DSS like normal, that in Photoshop, no matter how carefully I tried stretching it, the Galaxy details kept getting lost on me. So I went with plan B, I edited the images in ACR and increased the exposure by 2 stops. I then just pulled the 41 images into Photoshop, combined them into a layer, aligned them, turned them into a Smart Object and applied Median Blend to it. And then I could easily stretch with curves like I normally would do.

I had Flats, Darks and Bias for this data, but since I used Median Blending in Photoshop I didn't bother even using the darks.
