Description

I have decided to start pushing the limits of my talents with some of the harder to image targets out there.  CTB1, Abell 85, or Popped Bubble, Garlic Nebula is one of the targets I really want to get right.  But I am realizing that I need a lot more data to deal with noise, and to bring out the more subtle details of this beautiful, but very dim super nova remanent.  This was 360 minutes of data, using 10 minute images on a pretty clear night.  I was going for 50 images, but was cut short by clouds...we live on a cloud planet!  I will go back on another night and try to gather more data to combine with this, and hopefully will get a much less noisy image.  It is fun trying, and sharing not only my good stuff, but the learning process.  Clear Skies
