Description

After a really long phase of awful weather and rare opportunities to capture photons, I can finally show you some new stuff! This photo shows a region I was trying to expose and process for the third time since last summer, this time finally without walking pattern noise.
In two of the shortest nights around summer solstice I was able to gather data for this final RGBHaOIII image.

The bright star „Sadr“ in the constellation of Cygnus which is 20-times as massive as our sun is surrounded by spacious star forming regions with an expansion of about 100 light years.
In a distance of about 4.900 light years a lot of new stars are being born in this region.
The Crescent Nebula is the result of gas emission caused by a super massive Wolf-Rayet star which is emitting gas with a speed of 4.000 kilometers per second.
