Description

Had an almost clear night last night.  Fired up the Seestar, the Redcat 51 and my Vixen hopefully trying to catch a few evening wonders.  This was the first target for my Vixen for the evening.  At my latitude (34 degrees) NCG2359 never gets much higher than about 40 degrees in altitude and mades a ride way to the SW corner of my evening sky.  For some reason this a "pocket" where my NYX-101 and Vixen combination do not like to guide and image.  I tried to get 50 subs but only ended up with about 11 that looked acceptable.  Even still, with just 11x300" that was enough for a reasonable image.  Probably won't get to it this year but I'll be looking to catch this again with my C14.  Until then this will have to do.

This is a very interesting object with its blue emission colors and worth a revisit in the future for sure.
