Loved astronomy all my life. First book was the classic making your own telescope by Allyn J. Thompson. While I did attempt that my skills taught me that being an optician was not in the cards for my future. Not to be undaunted my first scope was a commercial 6" reflector. Moved up to a 10" Meade LX200. That was one of the original f/6.3 versions which I still have. I've worked as an electrical engineer, glass artist, 3D animator and a teacher. Besides astronomy I love cycling, general photography and cooking. Being Papa, Dad and Husband however are my favorite things.
