Description

Not my best work and not my worst neither... My ASI183MC Pro decided that night to have a temperature sensor Death and the only temp I was able to cool camera down to, was "Zero" by tricking it into cooling to a lower number and then switching back to zero and keeping cooling power at same power level the whole night. The darks at zero however did not correct out well, which let me to the conclusion the sensor temperature was not exactly at zero. I had to crop out amp glow and other imperfections along the edges.
At the end, a defect in the camera is a defect and I hope ZWO come sooner then later to the table. The camera is not even 6 months old. I am still waiting for a RMA from them... Not impressed. So, until fixed, this will be my last color image for a good while...

Still, I was pleased to see good detail in the core of the Eagle and make out the pillars of creation, and that with my tiny "guiding scope". 
This object lies some 7,000 light years away from us in the constellation Serpens. It was discovered by Swiss astronomer Jean-Philippe de Cheseaux in 1745.
The age is estimated at approximately 5,5 million years. The Pillars Of Creation - NGC 6611, part of the core of the Eagle Nebula gained popular fame after Hubble's images in 1995 were released.
