Less is more with the Vaonis Vespera Observation Station. This represents 306 stacked 5 second images over about 25 minutes. I processed a raw data TIFF that was generated by the Vespera as well as an Automatic JPEG that used Vespera's built in processing algorithms. I found that it was difficult to improve upon Vespera's built in algorithms, so this is the JPEG version. Light processing in Photoshop seemed to be best. Considering that Vespera is designed to be quick, easy and convenient, it seems to do that job well. You put the device outside, press a button, log on with the Vaonis My Singularity app on your mobile device and voila, in a few minutes you have a quick image of the target. It took a little more time to frame this manually so that I got all three galaxies. I also changed the exposure time from 10 seconds to 5 in order to do the best job on the stars. This was taken with a full moon.
I have found that stacking 305 images in the usual Astro processing software can take hours. Vaonis software does this task rapidly on the fly.
Update: Used Pixinsight SCNR to remove greenish tinge.
