Description

In the wake of Chandyaan 3 landing, posting this, and trying to get some new perspective about this whole deal.

The lander and rover landed near the lunar south pole region on 23 August 2023 at 18:02 IST, making India the first country to successfully land a spacecraft near the lunar south pole and the fourth country to soft-land on the Moon.

Only four countries- the US, Russia (formerly the USSR), China, and India have successfully landed on the Moon using an impactor or a lander. But only India has been abled to achieve the first ever landing on the South Pole of the moon. But why this pole was so difficult to reach? Because south pole's rough terrain makes landings really difficult, so that part remained untouched for so long. Now the soils and minerals can be examined from that region.

Moon generally appears as a bit yellowish to our eyes, but Moon is pretty colorful because of it's minerals, some minerals are orange and some are blue. I have been trying to take this kind of shot for a long time, but failed, because each time a made a small mistake. But finally I have corrected the mistake.
