Description

Located in the constellation Cygnus (the Swan), the visual portion of the Cygnus Loop is known as the Veil Nebula, also called the Cirrus Nebula or the Filamentary Nebula.

The huge region boasts several prominent components, including the "Western Veil" or "Witch's Broom" on the far right, the "Eastern Veil" on the far left, and Pickering's Triangle in the middle.

Using a wide-field short focal length telescope like the RedCat51 is a perfect fit to capture the entire complex in the field of view.
