GN 11.07.3 is a notable infrared nebula, characterized by its distinct reddish hue. The absence of an obvious illuminating star suggests that its luminosity may result from the emission of infrared radiation by heated dust and gas in the region. Its proximity to Earth, being only 500 light-years away, makes it a valuable object of study to understand the processes of star formation in nearby environments.

Next to GN 11.07.3, we find Cederblad 111, a reflection nebula that reflects the blue light of nearby stars. Reflection nebulas are typically associated with regions where young and hot stars illuminate the surrounding gas and dust, resulting in a predominantly blue color due to light scattering.

Close to these two, we have Cederblad 110, another reflection nebula, but with a red hue. This suggests a different composition of dust or a light source that emphasizes longer wavelengths, or even the presence of other astrophysical phenomena that alter its color.

Among these nebulae, HH 49 and HH 50 stand out, which are Herbig-Haro objects. These are small regions of nebulosity associated with newly born stars and are particularly interesting because they are formed by jets emanating from young stars. These jets, when colliding with pre-existing gas and dust clouds, create spectacular displays of shock and light emission, offering a direct view of the dynamic processes occurring during the early stages of a star's life.
