      Description

      The NGC 7331 galaxy group is a visual grouping of galaxies, also known as the Deer Lick Group, which contains the foreground galaxy NGC 7331 and four background galaxies NGC 7335, NGC 7336, NGC 7337, and NGC 7340. Four of the background galaxies are more than 290 million light-years away from Earth, while the foreground galaxy NGC 7331 is 40 million light-years away and has no gravitational relationship to the four background galaxies.
