Notes: Inspired by the new JWST images with 6 beam spikes, and recalling a Nebula Photos video "REAL Diffraction Spikes for $0.04" I decided to have some fun and made a fishing line mercedes benz shape cover for my scope and shot LRGB stars to add to my early July HOO data. Originally I did a 2 panel mosaic of the whole Cygnus Loop, but wanted to draw attention to just the Western Veil. I google searched images for inspiring crops, and found an APOD from 2013 that I just loved, so I used it as my framing, and I now have a REAL six pointed diffraction spike set on the bright star 52 Cygni (It was the only one bright enough to generate them).
