Description

This galaxy is reportedly about 100mly away, so at the 4-5 arc-min size we see it from earth, it has to be massive.

Seeing was not great over the acquisition period, but I added some shorter Lum subs at the end and got some tighter stars which I used to replace the Lum Stars for the longer subs. StarXterminator enables all kinds of creative stuff. I also deconvoluted the starless image separately from the stars, which allowed me to be more aggressive in bringing out galactic details while only slightly tightening the stars. All this worked like a charm and got me 20% tighter stars after deconvolution than just going with the longer exposure Lum subs and their stars.
