Description

M94 is a really terrific galaxy with a very interesting structure.  I struggle to get what I think should be the correct color balance on this object.  Using BackgroundNeutralization and ColorCalibration yields a very green looking galaxy.  Using PhotometricColorCalibration results is a more "orange" looking object.  I have worked with the PCC result in this version, but I was VERY careful with the saturation, trying to make sure that I didn't end up with an orange looking bullseye (which my first attempt resembled).  Also, I again used the continuum subtraction method on the Ha, along with my experimental version of mixing Ha with RGB for the star forming regions in the starburst ring of M94.  I would appreciate opinions from anyone that would like to view those areas at full res and tell me what you think of the colors of those areas.

C and C always welcome.
Tim.
