Description

A clear night in London!  New target for me, The Bubble Nebula (NGC 7635) is an H II region emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia. The "bubble" is created by the stellar wind from a massive hot, 8.7  magnitude young central star.  The nebula is near a giant molecular cloud which contains the expansion of the bubble nebula while itself being excited by the hot central star, causing it to glow. With an 8 or 10-inch (250 mm) telescope, the nebula is visible as an extremely faint and large shell around the star.  Located around 8,000 ly away.

Captured with my Celestron HD8 telescope, ZWO ASI2600MC Pro camera, 100 subs of 60 seconds at 250 gain, taken from my Bortle 7 light polluted garden.

Image specifications:
Chip temperature: -15°C
100 subs x 60 seconds, 20 subs x 300 seconds, g/250
Plus dark frames.
