Description

Here is a very faint and an obscure one...The Methuselah Nebula, MWP1, located in the constellation Cygnus. Being one of the largest planetary nebula known, it's estimated to be 4500 light years away, 15 light years across and about 150,000 years old.  Planetary nebulae typically only last about 10,000-20,000 years, so this one definitely lives up to its name.  This capture represents 29 hours of total acquisition time using OIII-Ha-RGB filtered data captured from 8/23/2023 to 9/9/2023 under mostly mediocre skies.
