Description

M45 - Pleiades

Pleiades is one of the jewelries of the Winter skies in the northern hemisphere.
And I love the Winter Skies. There is so much to see and so much to photograph.
M45 is about 444 light years away from us and spans about 17 light years across.
Several young hot stars burn bright and beautifully through the interstelar dust, making it glow.

I dreamed from my young age that I would be able to capture such image, and here it is.
The capture is about 5 hours of data taken from the TAS (Texas Astronomical Society) Dark site.

There is so many details that were there and I could not see it until final edits.
For the nerds, this was capture with a William Optics Whitecat 51 with the ZWO ASI533 one shot camera, I have to tell you the 533 is a miracle maker.

It was staked and edited in PixInSight and some minor touch ups in Adobe Photoshop.

Hope you all enjoy!
