Description

I'm continuing to work on improving the baffling system that I've made for inside of my primary mirror baffle tube. It looks like it's reduced nearly all of the off-axis light pollution from my image.
I use two stacked filter wheels. One is a 2" filter wheel using an L-Pro, the other is a 36mm filter wheel for my channels. I do this to manage light pollution in my Bortle 8 city site. Why use a filter wheel? Because sometimes you want to shoot something that you can catch a better luminance through an L-eXtreme but if on a filter drawer, you'll have to go back outside and change it manually. Plus, keeping it all enclosed keeps dust out.
The lower left corner artifact is a little worrying. Especially since it doesn't show up after the flip. I think it might be a function of the security light right behind my setup only entering from one side. I'll need to investigate further.
All images taken over four nights starting on 20220129. Best 61 frames of around 90 each channel used for stacking.
