Description

I am experimenting with a new Harmonic mount. This galaxy was a lot lower on my horizon than I first anticipated. My southern skies are the worst from my location in terms of light pollution. After the two nights capture I discovered my collimation was also off.

I really love this galaxy though. NGC 1300 is a barred spiral galaxy that is estimated to be 61 million light years away.
