Description

In order to gather some more experience in narrowband imaging, I've chosen a common and bright object. Risking that you're all fed up seeing the same object over and over again, I still hope that you enjoy the result.

The raw data is SHO which I've blended in the following manner:
R: Ha
G: 71% OIII + 29% SII
B: 100% OIII

Of course, during post processing I did some selective color adjustments. The most notable are enhancing the existing red tones and enhancing the cyan and blue tones by tuning the magenta and yellow down a bit.

The distribution of the amount of raw data is uneven as my SII-session has been interrupted by clouds (as usual).

What pleases me a lot is that the stars resemble some natural color and color distribution. Although, I haven't checked and neither can I guarantee that actual red stars are reddish or actual blue stars blueish. I'm just referring to the overall color impression.

Comments and feedback always welcome.
