Description

Between skiing vacations and bad weather it has been over 3 weeks since I had my scopes out, almost forgot how to set up and PA.  Took me over an hour, when normally it only takes me minutes.  Anyway this is just over 6 hours of data with 2 different scopes and camera's.  The first session was at the beginning of Feb with my ES 127mm & ASI 2600MM and the second session was last night with my SW 190mm Mak/Newt and ASI 2600MC.  And on a side note I think I finally have my Collimation pretty darn close as my stars look pretty round, even on the edges.

M109 was discovered by Pierre Mechain in 1781 and was listed as Messier's 109th target in 1783.  M109 is around 84 million light years away.  It is the brightest galaxy in the Ursa Major Cluster and is surrounded by three satellite galaxies (UGA 6923, 6940 & 6969).
