Description

The moon was quite high in the sky so i wanted to try to take an image of random star, which is far enough not to be messed up with the moons shine. So i picked Pollux since i rarely see images of this beautiful star. Unfortunately with my FOV i couldnt get it's brother Castor but nevertheless i wanted to take a photo of it. Pollux is an orange-hued evolved giant star and  about 34 light-years from the Sun in the constellation of Gemini. It is the brightest star in Gemini and the closest giant star to the Sun. Also i liked that it has a companion by his side ( 75 sigma Geminorum ) so wanted to see how it will turn out. In less then 30mins of integration i also captured nicely visible PGC galaxy with a code name PGC 21673.
