Description

Another bus stop on my long Photoshop learning journey.

Here I have worked on the mono images of Ha, Sii and Oiii using mostly levels before combining into a new RGB image and experimented with selective colours for this result. Stars have been added as a luminosity layer.

The goal was to try to represent each ionized gas in the proportions that they occur in the nebula. However, since the centre of the nebula in the Ha image was overpowering, I had to resort to selectively adjust this part of the Ha. I will pursue further learning on this as well as attempting to acquire more Sii and Oiii data before the target moves on for this year. I also need to learn alternatives to selective colour adjustments for colour balancing.

As always, feedback and suggestions are welcome.
