Description

The triangle nebula, also as a triangle galaxy as

well referred to as triangular nebula or Messier 33,

is a spiral galaxy with dimensions

70 ′ × 40 ′ and the overall brightness of 5.7 mag

in the constellation triangle. With that she is after

the Andromeda nebula the second brightest spiral galaxy

in the night sky and one of the closest to us.

The distance from the earth to the triangular nebula is

almost three million light years.
