Description

A mere 3.5 hours on the Veil Nebula from the city. The beautiful nebulosity sitting "under" the nebula itself is part of Pickering's Triangle.

I intentionally left some of the green in the OIII to give it a cyan look instead of plain blue, which I like.

Taken with the QHY128C, Triad Ultra, MyT Paramount, Bortle 9.

More info with comparison from previous attempts over the years with different equipment and the other Veil as well: https://www.galactic-hunter.com/po…/ngc-6960-the-veil-nebula
