Description

Messier 106 is one of the larger galaxies visible in the northern hemisphere and is a good opportunity for galaxy imaging for wide-field scopes. It has a visually dense core surrounded by a faint outer disk that makes it an interesting object to observe. I will definitely revisit with a longer focal length when I have the opportunity, but I like the way this one came out.
