Description

Image of the Pleiades (M45) from 1/4/24. The Pleiades is also known as the Seven Sisters and Messier 45.  At a distance of about 444 light years, it is among the nearest star clusters to Earth.  This image was taken about 10:06 PM as a series of twenty 300 second exposures using a gain of 105.  This is with the WO GT71 scope, ASI2600MC Pro camera, and iOptron HEM27 mount.  Images were then stacked and edited in Pixinsight using add-ons NoiseXTerminator and BlurXTerminator from RC-Astro.
