Description

The Jellyfish Nebula (also IC 443; Sharpless 248) is a supernova remnant in Gemini.  It may be the remains of a supernova that occurred between 3000-30000 years ago.  It lies about 5000 light years away and is roughly 70 light years in diameter.  

Imaged over several nights:  Jan 20, 22, 25-26, 29, 31; Feb 1, 2022
