Description

Hello,
It is galaxy season, isn't it ? Anyway I had two clear nights in a row so I spent them on the same target which is quite unusual for me but these summer nights are too short and a lot of satellite trails spoiled the subs. This is worrying me since I have only a 0.5°x0.5° field.
This nice galaxy (see the wiki link below for more information) is a quite interesting astrophysical object. What it makes a more challenging target are these faint clouds of our Galaxy in the foreground, especially with an C6 at f/8 and only 6 hours of exposition time... Hope you can appreciate it. Of course nothing is perfect here, stars, nebulae, the galaxy...the usual mess . And I will not spend the next nights on it, too many targets to shoot and life is short, sorry
All the best,
Andreas
