Description

This is Messier 90.  A intermediate spiral galaxy with a weak ring structure found about 60 million light years away in the Virgo cluster.  You can also see IC 3583, which according to Wikipedia, was first thought to be orbiting Messier 90, but is now considered too far away to be interacting at all.  Another very cool galaxy and region of the universe!  Clear Skies
