Description

This captivating image showcases the striking beauty of the M81 and M82 galaxies, located approximately 12 million light-years away from Earth in the Ursa Major constellation. The graceful spiral arms of M81 contrast with the vibrant and irregular shape of M82, both engaged in a cosmic dance that has lasted for billions of years. Captured using a Sky-Watcher 150PDS telescope and a ZWO ASI 2600MC Pro color camera, this photograph primarily consists of broadband data.
