Description

With all the cloud and smoke this year, I just did not have the time to get any colour data. I find the smoke has really reduced the contrast of my LRGB images, so I was happy with this result. Many of my other galaxy projects I have simply abandoned.

NGC 3726 is a magnitude 11.2 barred spiral galaxy roughly 45 million light years away and 85,000 light years across. There is supposedly a supermassive black hole at its centre with 3 million solar masses.
