Description

I am so happy that I finally got my first ISS photo!

It if far from "good" but I have learned so much this time and will do a better tracking job next time.

It flew above my backyard at 80 degrees altitude on the morning of May 11 at 5:14am EDT.

Captures 38GB of data with 18000 frames. I first separated each frame from the SER video file. Then I manually check if ISS is spotted in each frame using SER player. Because guiding was poorly done manually, it took me a long time in this process.

ISS appears in only 300 frames and many of them are not useful (too small, too blurry...etc). Only 7 frames are ok to put together into this final stacked image.

I manually guided it using a finder scope, it confuses me so much because of the upside-down view from the finder scope.

Scope: Sky-Watcher 350P Synscan Dobsonian
Camera: Player-One Mars-C
Exposure: 1ms, Gain: 200
Guiding: Manually guided by hand through the finder scope
