Description

Nice field of a region in Sagittarius full of dark areas. The main shadows looks like a dog's head with small ears. There are many Dobashi objects that I will identify soon.
The open cluster NGC 6480 is not an open cluster but rather a group or an association of stars. There is a bit more information here:
https://theskylive.com/sky/deepsky/ngc6480-object
Using database search on Simbad, it comes out that the shadow or dark nebula, sometimes is identified as a dog's head and sometimes as a horse head. It is LDN 1795, and it is in this reference:
http://simbad.u-strasbg.fr/simbad/sim-id?Ident=LDN%201795
A similar field is in AB, see for instance https://www.astrobin.com/q3c3qc/
Another view in B, rotated, is here: https://www.astrobin.com/d8phnc/?nc=user
I believe that there is an enchant on these dark formations, and in this case, the location close to the Galactic centre makes them even more special.
Looking at Lynds Dark Nebulae catalogue, J2000 coordinates, clearly LDN 10 and 12 are there.
