Description

A test shot of a double stack setup.  A TV76 with a Solarscope 50 etalon as per normal, but with a combo quark at the back (with a 2.5x powermate in front of it) so that the quark sees f24 light.  The FOV is obviously tighter than the TV76+SF50 single stack alone (which would capture the whole disk).  There were lots of newton's rings which thankfully mostly calibrated out as the sun moved across the sensor.  Flats were a bit tricky (definitely need an autofocus for that to avoid disturbing the framing).  Didn't have time to image single vs double stack so can't really compare but based on gut, it does look the contrast is sharper with this DS than just the SS alone.  I'm guessing it would much better with a proper Solarscope double-stack etalon, but this is a potentially interesting first test shot.
