Description

By far my largest block of integrated data at over 42 minutes. The largest portion was is the acquisition of the HA data. Data size was such that my computer's 64gb of memory was not enough to integrate each channel with Pixinsight's Weighted Batch Pre-processing. I had to revert to Deep Sky Stacker, which was fine except for having to move files between my Linux and Windows drives. I have learned since this stack that the integration phase of WBPP can be skipped and done later with the individual integration process where the data block size can be lowered.

Still learning big important lessons. Like just because a certain gain has the lowest SNR for your camera, it does not mean it is optimal for all applications. Also, its time to put electronic focus on my scopes. Threw away quite a bit of subframes due to lost focus; probably should have tossed more because I am less than pleased with the fuzzy stars and the concentric rings due to the different size stars in each channel. Also learning the ins and outs of throttling the channels during integration.

I did not feel like taking the time to separate all the dates in the acquisition details, but this data came from 10 different nights in September.
