Description

IC443 Jellyfish nebula  is a galactic supernova remnant (SNR) in the constellation Gemini in Hubble Palette.  It is roughly 5000 light years away from earth.
This is my first monochrome processing attempt. I used Sirilic pre-built script to process SHO images. Once normalized Ha, SII, OIII fits images are created, then used Pixelmath in Siril https://siril.org/tutorials/pixelmath/  and tried  different mixing pattern for SHO.
1 -Attempt to Hubble Palette  SHO channel mapped to RGB. (First Image)
2- Also tried Hubble classic Gold with  R = 0.6*SII + 0.4*Ha ;     G = 0.7*Ha + 0.3*OIII;       B = OIII
3- Simple RGB -> HSO mapping. (Rev1)

A lot to learn ...
