Description

The Flaming Star Nebula is both an emission and reflection nebula. It emits its own light and also reflects light from nearby stars.

Also referred to as IC 405 and Caldwell 31. This nebula is 1,500 light years away in the constellation Auriga

35 x 300 second exposures for nearly 3 hours of total integration time through my Askar FRA400 and ASI 533MC Pro.
