Description

M104 aka the Sombrero Galaxy is located in Virgo and according to NASA is one of the most massive objects in the Virgo.   Given my short FL, I decide to capture this along with a colorful collection of nearby stars.   I liked the way M104 popped and seemed to be sailing along.    I shot 120 frames lum and 40 each RGB at 60s,.   Did a 2x drizzle on the data so the shot could hold up to this crop.

3/2/23 - The pretty asterism in the upper right is STF 1664 is named "Jaws" and part of a larger asterism that resembles a shark.
