Description

Sharpless 2-15 is a Ha region illuminated by HD161853, the O star (the lower, brighter of the two stars) located almost dead centre in this image. It is part of a collection of HII areas Sh2-15 to Sh2-20.

21x 300s exposure 120x gain -5degree through ZWO DUO (little of worth in the OIII channel).

Taken soon after the full moon I was unable to get RGB for stars, nor more exposures after the meridian flip when I was unable to get it centred again due glare. I was inspired by Andy01's shot of this (https://www.astrobin.com/bhfc4j/) (nice one Andy!). I will definitely try again if the moon and now the rain allow.
