Description

The conditions of observation were satisfactory.

Are visible from the left, a narrow band, Syrtis Mayor, then Tyrrhena Terra with just below Hellas Planitia pretty clear, Hesperia Planum and Terra Cimmeria.

You can notice the whiteness of the southern polar cap which contrasts with the bluish hue of the northern one. This difference in colour is likely to be related to ice composition, water ice for the north cap and dry ice for the southern ice cap.

Technically, I made 4 IR-GB captures of 2 minutes per channel color (from 03:36 UT to 04:01 UT or 26 minutes of derotation).

7200 images out of a total of 120,000 were processed with WinJupos.
